Drag Tires For The FD Rims?

I was looking for drag radials for the stock FD rims. I could not find any on tirerack. I did find some 245/50-16s Nitto NT 555 R. Will these fit? Anyone have experience with these? Any other suggestions?

i have these nittos on my rims and they fit good. I drove about 100 miles on them and i didnt have any fitment issues. When i went to the drag strip i couldnt really say how they performed because my clutch was slipping but if i feathered it out of the whole where my regular street tires would spin these ones gripped pretty good.

Mickey Thompson E/T streets. 26-10.5-16 or 26-11.5-16

Everyone I know up to 1000 rwhp Supras run these.

The good thing about these is that they have flexible sidewalls. Unlike the DR's that I have seen eat some rear-ends.

---Edit: Whoops just noticed you were looking for DR's. M/T makes some drag radials too. http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/s...ETStreetRadial

I know the M/Ts are great, I just can't find anything that looks like it would be close to fitting the stock rims. Any suggestions?

The 16's MT ET streets fit . They dont look like they will fit, but they do. Raises the rear end up about a inch (P255/50R16) Nice tall sidewall, these wont break a thing

Yup, I've run the 26 10.5's and 11.5's without any rubbing. They look big but they fit.

BFGs aren't bad either.

I don't think the 11.5's would fit stock rear wheels,

What about the M&H Racemaster. They are on sale for $45 less than the M/T

Good price on those tires. The only problem is the closest size and the only 16" is 255/50 R16. Will these fit? Also, anyone know if these are tubeless? That saves $100.

They do. I have run them and own a set of them and there are about 10 Supra guys that run them with stock fd wheels. I promise:)
The 10.5's are plenty for most people, but 11.5's will work.
