Correct length studs for front spacers FD

Posted in the general 3rd gen discussion, but figure I might get a quicker response here.

I'm keeping stock wheels and have 25mm spacer adaptors for the rear and just got 20mm spacers for the front. I'll need to change the studs on the front. I'm finding conflicting info; either 2.5" or 3.25" studs are what I would need to run the 20mm spacers. Which is it?

Thanks.

pop a stock one out, and 20mm to the length.

I thought most of those spacer kits were machined and configured to work with the OE studs and then also have their own studs so you don’t have to worry about that?

you can just measure from the backside of the hub plate rather than knocking one out though

just making sure you know that the only way you can you get longer studs in the rear is to pull the hub loose from the upright, which requires buying new rear bearings, pressing off the old ones, and pressing on new bearings.

For future searchers. 2.5" studs for the front for a 20mm spacer for stock 16" wheels. It's the perfect fitment IMO. I'm lowered about 1.2 inches.

The rears I used 25 mm and went with adaptors. Also excellent fitment. I could see a 27 or 28mm being perfect in my eyes, but the 25s are right there.
