oh yes, me like :) thanks neevosh...say is that baklava they're selling from that blue van lol ;) some day we'll see artowar2's white fd with his ce28ns sigh...btw, i like the custom nose job and screen. that would work well with greddy type 24 v-spec or type 32-v spec fmics in getting more air into the ic core, and the mesh protecting the fins and charge rows!

sevenin7 04-15-03 01:19 PM

front :17x8,5 offset 40
rear :17x9.5 offset 35

tires : 235/45 - 265/40

SleepR1 04-15-03 07:40 PM

sevninin7, what nose is that on the red FD with the CE28Ns?

sevenin7 04-15-03 07:52 PM

Is the stock one with bigger hole.
I made it by myself.

7racer 04-15-03 08:02 PM

Gorgous!!! Do you have any different angles???

With that front (nice work BTW) do you have a shot from the front?

damn you do great work! will you do mine :)

sevenin7 04-16-03 04:17 PM

For the nose check please www.rotarybeat.gr -
project cars - 94 fd. The foto is not very good ...

SleepR1 04-16-03 07:08 PM

Cool! I need Rx7 Store's Jason Baughman and Zavier Neeley to do my FD's nose like that. My GReddy FMIC could use the extra air! Does Rotary Beat have a template to follow so I can have my nose opening done like that? I also like the stainless steel mesh. I've already got dents in the charge rows from stones hitting the IC core...:(

RX7 RAGE 04-18-03 01:57 AM

wow..i might have to cut up my stock bumper too when i get an fmic...looks so good and mean :)

Zavier says Rx7 Store won't do the job, so I guess it's off to the body shop...

sevenin7 04-18-03 05:07 PM

Fd's with CE28N ???

Leave it to the Greeks to come out with it first!!! sevinin7, why don't you give us step by step instructions on how you did it? You obviously had to cut the bumper. But what then? Did you leave extra and then roll the edge inward? Did you use a special body filler made for flexible bumpers? Please tell us everything we need to know so we can do the same thing to our cars.

Afaristo poli,
Thanasi

SleepR1 05-04-03 10:18 AM

I'm with, Tom. I need to get more air into throught the FMIC, and rad. I really don't like any of the aftermarket front bumpers (too "ricey")....Thanks in advance!

BTW, I like your CE28N with red FD. I wonder if anyone's tried 10.5 x 18, 45-mm offset in back with 295/30-18 tires; and 9.5 x 17, 47-mm offset up front with 265/35-18 tires? Perhaps artowar2 will finally post pics of his FD with 9.5 x 18, 47-mm offset Titanium Silver CE28Ns all around with 265/35-18 Kumho Ecsta V700s??!!

sevenin7 05-05-03 06:40 PM

o.k Thanasi but first of all sorry for my English.
Well , you must cut the bumber to make the bigger hole .
keep only the little piece of the top and use this again.
To pano meros tou bumber to use again giati afto exei to girisma .to xeilaki katalaves ?
The top of the bumber is one piece of the stock bumber
Are you coming in Greece sometime ?

sevenin7 05-15-03 05:36 PM

Somebody else with CE28N ?

SleepR1 05-16-03 06:21 AM

SleepR1 05-17-03 08:44 PM

I gave up...

TomsRX7 05-18-03 03:59 AM

I know I'm off topic here, but that nose looks so bad-ass, I corrected the angle:

Maybe I'll buy your CE28Ns and put them on MY CAR, so everyone can have a pic of 9.5 x 18s with 265/35-18 Kumho V700s LOL :)

ptrhahn 08-20-03 05:48 PM

Hard to believe these have never even been mounted for a pic! C'mon, throw us a bone!

i THINK this has to do with the Race Pro 2003!!!

DCrosby 08-20-03 09:07 PM

Yah, well...

So, how many FD's do you have over there, are those in the picture it ? :D ( It is a small Country )

I've been at 24.5" with the stock wheels. I thought that I'd start there with the CEs and see how it works. Did you roll your fender lips?

Cossie 10-24-03 01:35 AM

yes, they are rolled...

I want to be safe and decided to raise the car as I am going to be at Laguna Seca on MOnday....

it's been awhile...

Have fun-- it's been a while for me too. In fact, you saw me at the last track day that I went to :)

Cossie 10-24-03 01:49 AM

I guess u better pump up those tires and get on to a track event soon......

Fabian is almost done selling his car...now we are all waiting for a ride in the new R

SleepR1 10-24-03 07:20 AM

artowar and artowar2, you guys are giving me double vision :)

Cossie, I'm glad to read that you you are having such great success with the symmetrical setup and 265/35-18 Micheline Pilot Sport Cup Comps. I bet they're world's better than the old Kumho V700 255/40-17 and 9 x 17 Volk setup :) Enjoy, and report your results @ Laguna!

SleepR1 01-19-04 08:05 PM

Damn artowar2, when you gonna mount those things on the FD? You gonna keep them or sell them? Let us know...! 265/35-18 Kumho Ecsta V700s on 9.5 x 18 Titanium silver, 47-mm all around right? We've seen Cossie's in the trick dark grey. I want to see the lighter silver color!!

artowar 01-19-04 10:52 PM

Damn SleepR1, instead of busting my chops, why don't you pony up for some wheels? Hell, I started shopping after you did, and I've bought two sets now :)

Now, I won't actually answer your question, but I will give you something else to rag on me for-- I'll probably mount the SE37As first. They're silver, 18x9.5 w/45mm offsets all around. I have to pick tires-- since I can't get RA-1s in a 265/35, I'm leaning towards Pilot Sport PS2s (America's tire shows a 265/35, though Tire Rack does not).

The SEs are too pretty to track-- they have a nice glossy clearcoat over the paint, and will make great street wheels. The CEs just seem to have the paint itself. Since they've got the more "functional" look, and are probably lighter (I'll get weights for the SEs later), the CEs will see track duty.

Cossie 01-20-04 12:41 AM

I only have one thing to say to you

MOUNT THEM AND TAKE PICTURES!

SE37As on FD

Yes! Yes! Mount the SE37As and take a pic. I like the 9.5 x 18, 45-mm size. Should work all the way around with 265/35-18 tires! Pick Pirelli P-Zero Asymmetricos. According to Tire Rack's specs they're 25.1 inches in overall diameter and 11 inches wide when mounted on 9.5 wide wheels (assuming 0.2 inch increase in section width with 0.5 inch increase in wheel width). They're nondirectional tires--you can mount them @ any wheel position for flexibility in wheel/tire rotations.

Yeah, everytime I'm close, I get second thoughts. The market is full such cool stuff, I can't bear it!

I'm looking forward to this pic. Perhaps when you get tired of those SE37As, you'll sell them to me LOL :)
