I should have specified PP S-03's. That's what I have now...and my new ones just came in yesterday (for my new wheels if they ever get here)! I went up to 18" (i know...)

I recommende the S-03's to my brother who has an M3 and he had the Michelin Pilots too (factory). He likes the Pole Positions much better although we both agree the Michelins look a bit sharper. He goes through tires like every 10k so he's been through a lot and says the S-03's are the best he's had. Plus I saved him money.

I had S-02's on my Stock wheels and S-03s on my 18 inch Volks. To be honest I liked the S-02's better.

What did you like better about the S-02's? I've never used them.

A major advantage of the T1-S is that its the lightest tire of its kind. By comparison, a 275/35/18 Toyo weighs about 25.6 lbs whereas the same size S-03 is about 31 lbs. Thats major. The tire weight is more crucial even than rim weight, because they are the outer-most component.
