whare is your safc mounted, im installing mine tommorrow and need ideas

when i used one i mounted it in the ash tray, best place IMO since you can conceal it when needed.

^^ yeah thats where i seen it mostly in the ash tray. Good when you want to show it off, and you can close the lid when you leave the car in a parking lot.

I considered putting it in the ashtray, but i wasnt happy with that. It didnt really look like it belonged there. I mean it fit ok, but i dont know, i just didnt like it. So i put mine under the CD player. It took a LONG time to sand that thing so it fit perfect, but it was worth it. And i mean it fits PERFECT.

Oh and im pissed about my ash tray cover! It got a little wet once and turned brown and i cant get it to look good again!

the ash tray cover can be fixed by rubbing it down with leather reconditioner and itll protect it from water in the future too

Yeah those are teh two locations i see it, ash tray and right under the radio in the cover.

Depends on where you live, i would hide minds, NYC man, ill be lucky if the car will be there when i get back

Mine is in the ash try, not mounted though. I just flipped open the door and put the SAFC in there. I need to disconenct the SAFC when ever I go some place im not to comfertable in along with remove my face plate and taking down my radar detector. My car has got broken into before and my first SAFC got stolen along with my radio, I don't take any chances now.

i did this, with the stand it slides in perfectly, and doesnt mve
when sitting normally it doent block the idiot cluster either
