Since your Rtek already is mapped, start with all zero corrections.
It should run fine there until you get it tuned.

What's a safe amount to lean out on low map? I have -8% at 1000, and -2% up to 4k..everything else is 0%.
Right now I DON'T have the rtek or upgraded injectors installed, have to find me another set of secondary injectors.

Until my AFM failed, my low (lean) map was -10-15-16-17-15-12-12.

I'm temporarily running on a Mazda 929 AFM, and to get it to work I'm set -50 all across.

At low power, running too lean will mis-fire, but won't harm anything.
Just lean it until it starts to run rough at that RPM, then add back some so it smoothes out.
The trick is staying out of closed loop by unplugging the O2 sensor just while setting the low map.
When you're done, plug in the sensor and clear the check code.
