AFCII is driving me nuts on my N/A S5 FC **VIDEO**
Ok... I dont feel like typing, so I made a vid :)
Video speaks for itself, any Q's ask PLEASE. Driving me nuts Only thing I can add to that is EVEN AFTER I unplugged BOTH the AFC's AFM wires (yellow and white) the AFC was STILL reading 100 percent. I have it set to flap 6in 6out. Any help appreciated Vid is hosted on a cable mode, PLEASE be paitent and watch :( http://www.aztechrotary.com/perla/afc.wmv |
btw...
I have reset the ECU several times inbetween all of this. OH.... about the whole calibrating the TPS... it IS hooked up to the fullrange, I just didn't know what I was talking about.. meant to have the narrowrange tested. Its all good though :) The only thing I can think of is the metal sheathing wire is supposed to be grounded. Correct? For both the 02 sensor and the AFM Vs wire? I will try this tonight.. but just want to make sure. |
Any luck on getting her to run? I really can't see anything wrong with your setup.
|
Yeah, I got it running, but now an EXTREME hesitation beyond 3K....
If I go more than 20 percent throttle, it just lags big time. The AFC is only hooked up to read revs and tps.... the afm is bypassed. It was flooded like a mofo, got it to start, rev bounced from 1 to 2K.. and bad hesitation. Completely un-driveable. |
Any update on this? curious to see if you fixed the problem..
maybe you have a bad safc? did you email apexi to see what they said? |
Wait, the AFC isn't supposed to be doing anything, and the car still doesn't run right?
Are you running larger injectors or something? Does "AFM bypassed" mean the AFM is disconnected? -Ted |
Well, for the moment the AFM is hooked up "stock"
The AFC is basicly just a throttle/rev gauge :gay: It still reads 100 percent for some reason (with NO WIRES FOR THE AFM CONNECTED) I think Im going to try and use it with the pressure sensor... see if that works. The car is running fine now... dont know what I did.. but I fixed it ;) |
