Here is a pic of it during mock up. So some things may be a little different when you get yours, but this is when I had the digi for pics. It has a 42R on there. It is has equal length, tapered, long runners. Pricing isn't set yet but it wont be out of line. It will have the same warranty all our steel work does. Let me know if you have any questions.

Wow that is a nice manifold.

paximus 10-07-05 01:07 AM

AGREED!!
i wonder who the lucky guy is that gets to put that beauty in his car... :D

20B10AE 10-07-05 04:08 AM

Sean, PLEASE keep me updated as to the cost of this setup so I have an idea of how many body parts I need to sell. :D I'm considering the 42 non-BB as an option, but depending on the cost...

Reese

Zero R 10-07-05 09:53 AM

You guys are too funny. Reese, when your ready for the turbo BB or not let me know. I can offer a better price than most on 42's

I can vouch for that. I ordered a GT42R for my 20b project from Sean recently and am very happy with the service I have received to date.

the_glass_man 10-07-05 10:44 PM

So what's the price for the "kit"?

Zero R 10-08-05 12:33 PM

Pricing for the complete set up has not been settled yet but it will start as close to $4K(BB) as possible, and go up from there. With options like size of wastegate and coating and what not adding to the bill. Possible options such a full complete 4" exhaust is another thing being considered since I'm not into the idea of giving a 4" DP only. That said, I would then need to find time to make those as well :(

blueskaterboy 11-08-05 06:53 PM

im saving up to build a street driven 20b fd. but before that i'd like to use the 42r on my 13b pettit mild street port 3mm since its only got like 25k on it. what specs do you recommend for the kit for the 2 rotor and then for the 3 later? i dont care that much about the lag on the 2 rotor but when i go 20b i'd like to have really nice response.

and how much would it be? should i get a haltech?

i'd just like an idea of what to save up for and how much.

thanks.

Zero R 11-08-05 08:05 PM

I would just get the standard 42R kit we sell and when your ready upgrade the kit and keep the turbo as is you will be fine.

Herblenny 11-08-05 08:27 PM

How much for the manifold by itself?? I have a T76BB that I would like to use.

Zero R 11-09-05 09:56 AM

PM sent

Quadulus 01-23-06 02:00 PM

Ok, my dilemma is.. GT42R or GT45R or T88??? Ideally I'd like to keep the boost at 20psi or less while making the most power possible. I will run premix with water injection to keep things in control.

What do you recommend?

Travis

Zero R 01-26-06 05:31 PM

Do you want BB or non BB If you want non BB I may have other options for you that might work well for you. Do you already have the manifold and such?

-S-

Quadulus 01-26-06 06:16 PM

I was thining Ball bearing is the only way to go..

I would need the manifold/wastegate also. And bungs welded for EGT and my wideband.

Last time I called about my subframe I got a price check on the whole setup. I'll call again in a couple weeks, once I have the check for my motor :)

Zero R 01-26-06 06:34 PM

Did you get the motor already done?

Quadulus 01-26-06 08:55 PM

Will be bolting it in place this weekend as I've fabbed up some motor mounts to work with the subframe, then I'm going to hook up the fuel system. I have a gap in my engine bay that screams for a big single.

Zero R 01-29-06 07:25 PM

Cool just let me know when your ready.

turBRO [ArTiN] 11-04-06 02:44 PM

MORE PICS MORE PICS! :]

i would be interested in the same setup... but with a GT40R with A/R 1.06 or 0.96.... i dono?

i want to be pushing a MAX of 500rwhp with around 13psi (give or take)

i dont really care about power much...... but i am very anal aobut LAG... i wont a very responcive system (thats why i went 20B.. so i make 450-500rwhp with 0 to no lag)

mcfly 11-05-06 03:24 PM

How much room does this manifold with a gt4202r leave for intake runners?

what is the point closest the turbo and or runners come to the engine block.

calculon 11-06-06 11:51 AM

wierd. . .i could've sworn i posted in this thread after i recieved my kit. really strange.

anyway, the kit is top notch. the craftsmanship is TERRIFIC. Sean is easy to deal with and is not afraid to offer advice to help you build the system that you want, not just a HP number. i'd HIGHLY reccomend anyone to hit him up for this.

as far as intake clearance. . .i'll post some pictures as soon as i get my camera back from casio (digital cameras don't like getting put through the washing machin apparently. . .who knew?)

again. . .KICK ASS work!

thanks sean
ryan

Zero R 11-06-06 12:49 PM

Ryan you had posted in the 42R thread not the 20B thread. ;)

BLK FC3S 05-18-07 11:29 AM

can you PM me pricing on the manifold and pictures of manifold alone if possible. looks nice from what i can see.
