Thumbs up MZM Performance in Austin

I just got my FD back from MZM and I am very happy with the service and results. Usually only the negative stories about a shop make their way to the forum, so I wanted to post a note to say that my experience with MZM was exceptional. Mohammed and Mutasim diagnosed my problem within an hour and resolved the issue completely for a reasonable price. Thanks!

Sure. I have a 94 FD that had a rough idle that I had lived with for a couple years. The combination of my little battery (odyssey pc680) + underdrive pulley was causing the charging system to output a voltage that was below spec. They replaced the battery with a nice glassmat battery, built a beautiful mount for the new battery and my ignition amp (the welds are awesome), replaced the battery cables and sparkplugs. Car runs awesome now that the voltage is within spec.

In my opinion MZM is a good as it gets...they have worked on 4 of my RX7's and 4 of my Supras. They have done fantastic work every time. When i say worked on my cars i am talking about taking almost bone stock RX7's to 400 plus HP single turbo RX7 that were more reliable when i left the shop than they were when i dropped them off. My last Supra, Mohammad pulled several all nighters to get my car ready for the Supra meet.

My current project will be in the shop soon for them to finish up and get tuned by Mohammad....
