Paint Shops in Austin

The paint on my 95 fd3s has seen better days. I知 looking for a good paint shop. I知 more interested in finding someone with attention to detail rather than being fast and cheap.

Who is your favorite shop in Austin? Any good experiences to share?

This is relevant to my interests as well. My '90 GTU looks like crap. Seems like most body shops just chase insurance dollars and finding do restoration quality work is hard. My BIL works at a shop in Hutto that works on a lot of classic cars and he didn't even have a good recommendation for me for a place that will do the whole car. I did find this place on line, but I haven't talked to them. Classic Car Painting TX | (512) 633-2605 ? Call Us Today!

Reach out to Marwan @ Protech Body Shop. He has built several FDs for himself and others so if you want someone who knows the car and doesn't sacrifice quality for speed then give him a try.

Marwan looks pretty experienced, nice. Has he done any work for or with you?

Colvin Automotive might be an option. They always have some crazy restoration projects going on.

I haven't dropped my 7 off but he did do an insurance repair for my 3 and I was happy with the work. I am planning to let him touch up my paint along with some aero work.

Ofelio Guevara is a great guy who does all of Boost Logics bodywork and paint locally. He works at Pavilion Collision Repair & Service Center and I would highly recommend him as well as Robert at Kenfowerkz Customs. Robert actually has a FD and knows his way around them and did my paint and bodywork with awesome results. Both located in Austin and a quick google will show their contact info. BTW, I run Texas Rotary Parts facebook group so if anyone would like to join just shoot me a holler.
