undivided manifold with divided exhaust housing
Can this work?
|
It works but I would say it's not optimal. Brian at BNR (near you) ran my TD07 like that in his FC. Maybe give him a call and ask him what he though of it.

It works, but is not optimal would be correct. I run a P-trim 1.15 divided on a side ported motor with an undivided South Florida Performance manifold with no probs.
|
I am running a .96 undivided housing on a divided mani.
Not optimal but I doubt U could tell much difference with the boost cranked up. I orderd a new .96 divided and the undivided showed up. |
.96 IS undivided, so you got what you ordered :) Maybe you wanted a 1.00?

Almost ALL Supras run a divided manifold, and an undivided hot side, go figure.
|
Maybe you can "knife edge" the divider? Or maybe that woulden't be a good idea if it got too hot, melted and went through the turbo?
|
Running a divided T78 turbine side with an undivided manifold. I'd like boost to come on a bit sooner. Other than that, no probs but switching to a ball bearing turbo, divided, in a week or so.
