Spiking problems

I have a t78 and a full exhaust. I run about 12lbs but it spikes to 14-15lbs which makes me very scared of running lean. What can I do to help this problem?

Guess no answer?

What boost controler are you using, also what spring is in your wastegate? What is in your car fuel system/intercooler exc?

Its a manual boost controler. Just a generic controler, its the wastegate that came with the t78 kit. Nothing there was changed, stock injectors, upgraded fuel pump, big adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and a custom front mount intercooler. The exhaust is the downpipe/midpipe/catback combo.. however the catback and midpipe are welded together.

I think the kit for the t-78 comes with a 1.1 bar spring in the wastegate, at least mine did for a t-88. 1.1 bar is around 15/16 psi, that might be the problem. If is was you I would invest in some injectors, stock injectors are working at there limits at that boost. What A/F are you running?

What ECU?

Wondering what your injector duty cycle is at with stock 550s and 850s. I am guessing 100%.

How long have you been pushing the stock injectors like that? You have to have lean a/f

Upgrade your secondary fuel rail and put in either 1300 or 1600cc injectors. Then you don't have to worry about spiking.
