A quick note to anyone with a 2nd gen using either the AP Engineering or Banzai Racing setups:

I have put together a supplementary document explaining some of the small installation and tuning differences when using the PFC on an FC. I also have a handy appendix with pinouts and configuration procedures for your TPS.

Hello

A friend of mine said he would host it on his web server.... This is not my site, and there is no other RX-7 stuff there, but this link should work....

SAVE AS...

www.catenet.net/rx7_tuning.pdf

This is the most up-to-date version (0.6)

Regards,
Brian

Ya know, that may be possible.

The original dyno page was actually hosted on that same guy's site (he did the back-end programming to make mysql talk to gnuplot to make the graphs).

Let me look into it.

I have all the dyno files saved on my computer, so even though they aren't on the web, I do still have the files so they could be re-planted there perhaps.

Cannot find article

When I click on the link to go to "Single Turbo with PFC Tuning Document Here" I do go to an RX7 web site, but I cannot find the article. It contained the most complete, knowledgeable, thorough step by step info on practical tuning I have ever read. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Bob hartman

Well, 31 pages later, my first draft is done.

Please remember this is a draft, and I haven't even proof read every little line yet myself. I am going to be pretty busy next week, so I won't have a chance to work on the doc to fix errors or stuff for at least a week. But I wanted to throw a first draft out now for people to look at and comment (or flame!).

If you have constructive criticism, please send me a PM or reply here. If you simply want to say it sucks, go ahead, but at least I'm trying to help people out.

I hope it helps some people out!

To me that was one of the best pages. Its was nice to compare diffirent motors and spool time's. Not to mention some of the ones that carried power past 10k!

http://www.catenet.net/rx7_tuning.pdf is the link for the tuning info. Thank my friend Frank for hosting heh.

I should get the dyno page going again (with all the dynos I put in).

Here is the ORIGINAL page - same basic format, but only about half the dynos...

^ Thanks for reposting the link from your first post as it was not working when I tried. I'm thinking ( have been thinking for quite some time now ) of going single and I'm really looking forward into reading this.

This document was very helpful! I know you're prolly tired of hearing that but I really mean it. I have been tinkering on my own and actually have already cracked an apex seal due to lack of knowledge that I have now found in this document so once again thank you, and keep it up!

I tried clicking the link, but the website that loads does not contain any documentation.

Is there another link I can try or maybe someone has a copy that I could have to look at, perhaps?

I would greatly appreciate it.
