Shopping for a turbo manifold.
I've been looking online for a nice turbo manifold for my FC, but have been pretty unsuccesful. If someone could help point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it..
It's an S5 motor, and I'm going to be running a S362 bullseye turbo, with a Tial 44mm wastegate. Thanks in advance. |
i'd recommend neukin. pretty much unbreakable imho

That manifold looks perfect, but I have a few questions...
Is there a huge difference between a divided and an undivided manifold?? Also would I need the V-band downpipe flange if I'm getting my exhuast custom made? (I'm not too sure exactly what this is if someone could explain it in idiot terms) Also what size downpipe and exhaust should I be running with this combo? Thanks again for the help. |
i also make them :) pm me for details or post here if you like...
alot has to do with what your goals are in terms of hp/torque, also which turbo you decide to chose and if you want to run single or dual wastegates dual wastegates, while expensive to get going, are well worth the money for many reasons |
I'm 100% going to be using the S362 with a billet wheel .91 hotside, and also the tial 44mm wastegate. The only parts I'm missing is a manifold and exhaust.
I'd like to be able to make high 400's if possible... Here's a list of mods: 1987 S4 Turbo II S5 Turbo II motor and trans. Large Street port Power Steering, Air pump, Cruise control, and AC Removed ACV EGR valve Block off plates HKS Light weight flywheel ACT clutch 720 CC primary 1400CC secondaries Greddy RS BOV Bullseye S362 Billet .91 hotside Tial 44 mm wastegate Microtech lt-8 HKS EVC-S Greddy front mount KOYO radiator Upgraded fuel pressure regulator + oil pressure regulator MSD 6a Walbro 255 |

Divided provides better response. You will want to run at least a 3" downpipe. The bigger the better with the downpipe, even if the discharge on the turbo is only 3". |
elliot is indeed correct :)

neukin.com FTW! been using mine for years and has help up to many hours of track abuse with zero cracks
he will make and open or divided manifold. contact him at sales@neukin.com and tell him rob sent you he may hook ya up |
I got mine from gato performance. Many of the rotaries from puerto rico use his manifolds and each is custom made to your needs. I've put mine thru hell in the 1 1/2 years i've had it and it still looks new.
