Damn, i go to work and all the good stuff happens.

Back on track. smg944, are you looking for the performance gains of being able to launch the car with a 2-step or more of the "i like the flames and noise"?

Regarding launch control, how come everyone talks about using progressive fuel cut OR ignition cut? Why not progressively cut both to maintain the RPM?

Last I checked it was 2018. Where's your DBW 2-step control? :P

 I'm coming from a PowerFC, so asking me to move from 1993 to 2018 all at once is a bit much
Honestly DBW is interesting, but I won't be converting my pedal/TB any time soon.

Is there any reason not to cut both fuel and ignition? I can't think or a reason, but usually when no one is doing something there is a good reason for it :dunno:

Leaving the fuel lets it burn in the exhaust manifold and keep the turbo spooled, more important with a massive drag turbo sized for 50psi.

Any ignition cut is incredibly abrupt, so it's very likely going to damage the turbo/exhaust system in a short amount of time. 2-Step is purely just a second limiter for launching. Anti-Lag is intentionally retarding timing (to require MORE TPS to maintain engine speed) to dump excess fuel in the exhaust and generate boost pressure at low RPM.
