The IHI turbines RCH-7b and RHC-6b are both fairly robust as far as they are really reliable, but you will pay out the ass for a rebuild, as I just found out. (I have a C-7 also) they are basically a clone of the T04 series, with some minor differences, and there quality control was great (but they quit selling in favor of the RX-6 BB series Kenn |

i feel dumb for askin that sorry been outta country for a couple of weeks :) pull the compressor houseing off, and measure the widest part of the wheel, go up the wheel to where the second set of "fins" end, and measure there give your measurements in millimeters. for a good explanation do a quick search on t04 and several of the threads have some diagrams posted on where to measure exactly. those same posts have the formulas to calculate the "trim" of the wheel, but it won't match any of the HKS/Garret specs, and unfortunatlye it seems to be damn near impossible to get the compressor maps from IHI, at least I have had no luck in that department. kenn |
