proper setup when using inline fuel pump?

I know not too many people are running an inline external fuel pump, but maybe someone knows: Should I run some kind of pump in the tank along with the external pump? I don't think I will be able to mount the pump below fuel level and I am concerned with priming. Aeromotive says it should be fine, but I'm suspicious.

The external pump is an in-line Aeromotive, it flows 500lbs/hr. at 45psi.

-Thanks

I see, so is the pump below the intake, so that you don't ever have to worry about primeing ?
Is the pump in the space right behind the tank?

-Thanks
