Yeah we were very pleased with the numbers it produced!

So this is a 5862 or a 5858? ... Curious on the Hotside Specs as I'm running about the same setup in my Miata but with a stock port REW (Comp 5862, T4 Divided, .84 ar hotside, 1k/1600 combo, and Link G4 ECU). I've always thought I've been around 300-330 at 14 psi. Waiting to upgrade my Diff before I ring the turbo out on E85 to see what it really has in it. Think Last logs showed I was around 80% duty cycle at 7k RPM but started trailing off due to stock ports.

any info on the hotside specs? Really curious what it would put out on High Boost and E85.

.84 divided

Nice numbers for such a small turbo. I would really like to see what it would do on stock ports or maybe street ports.
|
Those are great numbers! This makes me want to stick with my idea of using an hx35 on my car now. Flows slightly less, but would be a great street turbo with fast spool
|
Todays turbo technology has gotten very good. Small turbos, proper setups, and good tuning are making good power numbers that have large power bands and not just all up top. This car is a blast to drive on the street. The high boost setting is hard to drive on the street even in 3rd, but as with most people after a large power gain comes a good/larger set of tires.

Might be an off the wall question from the norm. Does the cast manifold keep the turbo low enough and far enough back for the ACV and airpump to remain if desired?
