The more boost you run the more critical it becomes.

However you did a great job on the IC hotpipe.

my only dislike is the fact a good size air filter probably won't be abled to be fitted...

Correct, I plan on using an HKS Mushroom filter.. the foam style. I don't think there is enough clearance for a pipe to be added for an outlet that size.

ikari899 03-20-07 05:03 PM

yeah it is impossible with that size intercooler and the turbo being that far forward. its a hot air intake. o well thats why that IC is so fucking big right :D.

dubulup 03-20-07 05:12 PM

just don't run without any filter...a cool charge won't save the rotor housings

Yeah, there will be a filter there for sure. Just gotta find out what the mouth opening on that turbo is...

Carlos, mind busting out the measuring tape? LOL

This is backwards, if you run 10psi good flow is more critical than if you run 40psi. At 10psi good tank design can make a huge difference in both feel and efficency. At 40psi the air will make sure to use all the available space it can.

Car looks like it's coming along nicely Darren, congrats :icon_tup:

You might want to look into the K&N 'shorty' filter I run, I got it from Gotham. Much better than any foam filter......
