Planning my single turbo build for my fd3s, thinking of going half cut Bridgeport and single turbo obviously with all supporting mods, managed by a power fc.
Can anyone offer some insight on this turbo as I haven't seen many Ta series around, how does it compare to the highly regarded to4z/r?

Is that price for both? I just not understanding why. If you are on a budget there are plenty of very low priced rotary friendly turbos that are a better match. If you are really on a budget you can get a old school BW S366 for under $700 new. If you want the latest and greatest tech but don't want to spend a ton get a S366 SXE for about a 1 grand and be done with it. The SEX is a 700 whp capable turbo and should provide a monster mid-range as well.

yea he's talking NZD . SXE run $2300Nzd with turbine housing down here. about $1950nzd as a Supercore.yes we are always jealous of your automotive pricing. but once freights added and duty and gst we within a couple hundred buying it here.
that TA45 has a HUGE 1.52AR exhaust housing.hence the LAZY reference i imagine.

I got the basic BW S300/S360, think it came out to about $1200nzd shipped, incl tax. Pretty good cheap option

yea thats a good deal to have the above S300 landed here for that because $700USD is $1050NZD plus freight which is normally $100-$150usd + duty/tax is on the freight and item so thats another $200-$250 nzd so your looking at $1500ish NZD.thats still good buying as i pay $1700 here for same turbo including marmon clamp and flange.

i just bought a EFR 9180 and it worked out $300 more buying it here then from the states.which i was happy to pay for it to be local
