Will divided manifold work with a non divided turbo?

why not just do it right?

Yes, it will work, just not as well as a divided turbine housing. You can purchase those seperatly.
|
The manifold you used as an example is for an external wastegate setup. Turbo goes on one part. Wastegate on another. You still run the exhaust from the hot side of the turbo.

Yes it works just fine. It's no worse than a cast log style manifold and actually still has the benefit of keeping the pulses separate and strong right up to the turbo. Use it and don't worry about it. It isn't a divided housings equal but it's not going to be any different than any other non divided turbo in terms of how well it works.

Currently I'm running a non-divided turbo on a divided manifold (HKS Log) with no problems. I'm swapping to a different turbo in a week or two, which is divided, but not because this one doesn't perform well or anything, but because it is a loaner.

Thanks guys. you were all a big help.

That manifold you used as an example is for an RX-7 and the turbo is used to compress air!! I know what I am talking about. Do you not understand?
