But the intent of you post is right on. Wanting a 650 HP rx7 at 18 to drive around on the street is the automotive equivelent of learning to ride motorcycles on a turbo hayabusa.

Yeah.. but you think he wants to drive around in a 650hp (no matter how many rotors he has) rotary? I guess what I meant was: sure, you can have a rotary with that much power potentially, but you're not going to drive around safely or comfortably with that amount on the street. Save those numbers for the strip/track

I daily drive my car (I'm only making ~300hp right now) and I'm constantly annoyed with how uncivil it is.. even with mods for the street (tune, clutch, etc)..

I just know how he feels.. I was in the same boat when I bought my FC. I just wanted something ridiculously fast. I never took into account all of the drawbacks, and I've paid for it in inconveniences and money.

my question is this. . . at 18 years of age, do you really want to sink all that hard earned money into a CAR only to NEVER see it come back to you in the end? spend it wisely. . . INVEST!!! sure. . . use some of it to build a badass, but dont waste your youth on a CAR.
