GT35 turbo question
Hi gents,
I noticed the following turbo for sale, and was wondering how well this would suit an FD with the following specs: GT35 TURBO GENUINE 600 HP WATERCOOLED TURBOCHARGER -INDUCER 61.4mm -EXDUCER 82mm,WITH 56 TRIM, COMPRESSOR HOUSIN.4-INCH,2.5 OUTLET BRAND NEW NEVER USED -WATERCOOLED/OIL CORE WITH 360' BEARING FRONT A/R 0.7 -TURBINE WHEEL 68mm TURBINE HOUSING A/R 0.82 T3 FLANGE WITH 3-INCH 4-BOLT STYLE EXHAUST CONNECTION Thanks guys, Mike |
Sounds like an ebay turbo? GT35Rs do not have thrust bearings as they are Ball Bearing, its says, " WATERCOOLED/OIL CORE WITH 360' BEARING "
Regardless turbine a/r is too small. If you are looking for a journal bearing GT35R here is our Garrett version; http://www.turblown.net/store/index.php?productID=65 |
Thanks mate, yeh i suspect its an ebay special, i asked the seller what brand it is but havent heard back from him yet. It is actually on ebay but from a private seller http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Sounds legit to me. Chinese specials usually have incorrect nomenclature.
Turbocharger - T3/T4, StageIII Turbine wheel with 61mm compressor wheel http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant...egory_Code=TBN Turbocharger - T3/T4, StageIII Turbine wheel with 61mm compressor wheel (61mm inducer and 82mm exducer) and .70 A/R T04S Compressor housing with 4" inlet and 2.5" outlet (alternate T04E housing available with 3" inlet and 2" outlet). Journal Bearing Turbo. 4 bolt or 5 bolt T3 exh hsg with .48/.63/.82. Good for 550HP. I disagree on the 550BHP rating however. Try less than 400BHP even with the largest .82 housing. Wouldn't even go as far as a stage1/stage2 BNR in my opinion. |
Elliot know his stuff!! (Turblown) great guy to do business with!!
