Blown 60-1, what to go with now?
1 Attachment(s)
Well my Turbonetics 60-1 is burning oil and I want to replace it with something with a little better response and the possibility to make a little more power. The plan is to go standalone in the future but for now I will be sticking with my Rtek 2.1 with the 1000cc and 720cc injectors. The turbo was ptrim .81 on a HKS log mani.
The dyno sheet was on the stock ports. I am now on a streetport. Idle vid http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...h_MVI_2194.jpg |
i have an almost new innovative T78 ball bearing. i used it for about 5-600 miles at most and about 3 runs down the track. no play at all, no smoke. T4, .81 a/r also. lemme know if ur interested.

I think both options might be a little much for my setup. I think I might be going with a pt6266.

The 6266 wouldnt be a bad choice. I would also consider an S360 or 35R.

That s360 is so tempting

I love my s360 soo far, Should be tuning it here soon when it cools off. But driving around on the street soo far it's amazing.

I have the garrett 60-1 and when mine blows, I plan to drop in the GT CHRA. They make GT cartridges for the T series housings now.

buy A new borg warner s366 or smaller for 700 bucks.... done!
or buy my s400sx FMW! 67mm for 1k |
Stay away from Precision. I would go with a 60 series Borg Warner. What are your power goals and use of the car? I'm here to help...

Yeah I ended up with a BW s360. The turbo is a beast!
