There are alot of guys using the haltec so you can probibly get an array of maps and tips but for the most power and exact timing and options the Electromotive unit is the better of the 3 mentioned. If Ray Lockheed uses it on his race car it must be worth it for your car. His runs 8.8 second 1/4 miles.

Another Electromotive fan here.. trickier to tune, but worth the results. If you can wait a couple of months, TEC 3 will be out. From speaking with several of the engineers, it is really going to be a great piece! Haltech is also a good choice due to lower cost, and support from other owners. PowerFC is the easiest to use, easiest to install, and least expensive (complete), but has the least access to parameters. I have used all three, but use Electromotive in my own car. We TEC owners are finally uniting, so you won't be totally alone if you go that route...

working on that logic, Microtech systems are the best to come outta aussie cause the fastest drag cars in aussie run them. when in fact nothing could be further fromt he truth. A drag car only has 3 phases, idle (no need to be precise there), launch rpm. and WOT. definitly dont need a top of the line Efi system to be able to take care of those bits now do ya.

Look in circut racing circles, as on a circut you will come across a lot of area's of an efi system which will never been seen in a drag race and it is the difference between a good efi system and a bad one. you'll be suprised at how the good for drag efi systems are on a track.........

That was once example. there are many street and race cars using the Tec systems. The timing is more precise and sensors are very acurate and can run everything up to a v-12. The timing is within 1/4 of a degree vs say a haltec that has up to 10 degrees of spark scatter at higher RPMS.

HWO

the fastest rx7 in production car racing has a micrtech fitted it, he dosent seem to have any problems with it, but then again it is all about how it is tuned.

APexi PFC is the way to go. I went with a built engine, T88 kit 850 prim-1600second, and it works real well. The best thing is, it takes 5 minutes to install. No wires to cut and splice. And it's fully programmable.
