Looks great Glen but wouldn't you rather have the inlets for the wastegates as close to the turbine as possible?

glenrx7 08-15-08 08:32 AM

In my expirence they are better closer to the engine side. They seem to react faster and hold better...I am going to offer severak option on wastegate location so if some one would rather be closer they can...The fact is these are for you guys and what you would like to see.

The inside of the weld should look as good as the outside, not gray and rough.

Wow, well I assure you this tubing is 304 and it was back purged.............

That manifold looks like its made of pipe and buttweld elbows, and pipe which is only available in mild steel (and I doubt thats what was used) and 304 or 316 you can only get 321 in tubing not pipe. The welds look very good from those pics dont know if there was a back purge or not hard to tell from a tiny pics like that.Got any close up pics of the welds?
