Yes. This engine is putting out about 400rwhp and 270ish ft/lbs. It still has the low compression rotors. I plan on dry sumping it, and in 2010 going to the high compression rotors.
I bought it complete. With ecu, mapping done, ect. Put it in, hook it up and go.
I expect my rwhp to go up, as my trans/axles, ect are more effeciant then the po's setup. Cant get much more efficiant then a hewland though

I've seen that car in person when it used to be served at Bauer Porsche in Oakland. It's about as race ready as can be. The pp 20b is such a better fit for that car than the big V8 that used to be back there...
I have a rotary 914 with a 13B that I'm trying to massage back into health..
And if I'm lucky, I may having something in the works with my Porsche 911...

Seriously, that is a wonderful chassis. I spoke with the owner about it when he was trying to sell it complete with the engine. He was asking something around $100k at the time. I'm assuming he parted it out since you bought the chassis. I like the idea of the Hewland transmission. I'm using the 915 tranny but am worried about it's reliability. The nice thing is your chassis has so much development into it that I still have to do. I'll be watching to see you progress. Good luck!

COOL! another 20b914. With the sheriden widebody also!
Elmer spent gobs of money on my chassis...he let the roller go with everything except engine, and transmission for 20k
My chassis needs only one more thing to make it perfect. I need to install the tangerine racing raised rear suspension pickup point kit. I suggest you look into that also, if you havent already.
I noticed in your 914world post that you moved your engine back to clear the firewall. I had no idea the 20b was that long! Lucky for me the PO of my chassis moved the firewall forward... should make things alot easier, and better as im not moving weight back.
Are you a 951 owner as well? Ive had a widebody 951 that has been out of commision for 5 years... makes me sad.

Elmers car was well sorted out and would make a great platform. I already had my car when his went for sale. In regards to 20b length you have to remember that I am using the 915 tranny whereas your Hewland is probably shorter.
I have a couple of 951's and I also own the one and only Kelly Moss Racing 968 Turbo that was featured in Excellence in 1999.

Haha. My 914 is still sitting in the weeds. One day... I have had it since High School. Man that thing was fun to drive. A 13B Turbo should be plenty fast for such a light car.
