UIM only has 2 nipples firewall side

88 Turbo II .. Where art thou 3rd nipple? Most of the diagrams I'm seeing have a nipple for primary and secondary air bleed, and OMP. I don't know where to plug in what..

(See picture below)

In the manual diagram you have pictured shows two different setups where one is for manual and the other is for automatic. The auto has three. Is that your question?

Sorry, the picture was not of the manual, it was of the vacuum nipples on the firewall side of the throttle body / UIM... Let me crop it..

From what I can tell the top is the primary injector air bleed, and the bottom is the OMP nipple.. but I was really just curious why mine only has 2 nipples on the back.. It has 3 on the front like normal.

Where does my thermowax go if there's only 2 nipples? Why are there only 2? Anyone?

S4s don't have secondary air bleeds do they?

The fsm has a vacuum diagram...

Third nipple goes to subzero start assist which California cars didn't have.

Hey, thanks for the response. I checked the FSM and it shows 3 on the back of the UIM... and it doesn't show where the thermowax vac plugs in.. So not much help.

They don't have secondary air bleeds. That's correct. But the OMP nipple is back there.. the primary injector air bleed covers the second hole, so where does the thermowax plug into if there's only 1 vac and an air supply? Do I have to run one from the front?

Your car is a mystery

Is that the original intake manifold and TB? does it have thermowax w/ 2 nipples?

Does your UIM have an EGR valve flange? If not, then it's a JDM version.
