Wise One Spring Update 2008
Ok well I have had some requests for more info and pics etc from the shop so here goes.
First I will start off with an update on the $100 FC. Keep in mind I was paid 100 to take the car
I finally got around to taking the engine out yesturday and cleaning up the engine bay a bit today although it still needs quite a bit of work. However I will most likely sell it on yahoo auctions so I dont need to get super crazy with cleaning the engine room. Then engine turned out to have a trashed rear apex seal which no doubt destroyed the rotor housing. The rotor was still in decent shape so that was good. The front iron`s outer coolant seal was visible when the oil pan was removed
It looked almost as though some one had shaved away material at that point and there was only about 1-2mm worth of material there that some how chipped or snapped off. So all I was able to salvage from the motor was 1 Hi flow turbo, Almost new OS twin plate, 2 1000cc injectors, 1 front housing, a center and rear iron, and a couple other odds and ends. Here are some pics, the engine in the back ground is a used engine from an old customers car that had a race engine built. The stock engine is what will be living in this FC soon.

Yesturday this FD got new injectors and then went for tuning.
The engine was built by Kagotani whom we work together with a lot.
Notice the Kagotani air intake! I love that thing

The white FD from my last update finally blew it`s engine after 60,000 hard kilometers. Here is Mr. Uehara preparing to go get started on porting Hiroki`s engine.

The only place I've seen that spoiler is on Mariah's website, and it's $530 something without shipping.
Either I'll keep searching for one of those, or do the more sensible thing and get an Aeroworks carbon fiber spoiler.
