Hey guys I just got off the phone with Steve Kan and Shane at DB performance in Rogers, MN. Steve is all booked up for April but is available on 24th and the 31st of May. DB tuning is wide open in May and said that we would be able to use their dyno for those who want it. What I need is a solid # of people for tuning and dyno. We will also need to collect a deposit to. Right now let just get #'s. So this is what I have so far for people wanting a tune. Memorial day is the 26th so our best bet is to shoot for the 31st. Let me know what you guys think. lets get this done within the next couple days and get him booked.

May 31st doesn't look good anymore. Washington states wanted that weekend and I already locked it down for them.

Ok Guys, We have locked Steve down for the 24th of May. Our location could change. DB performance said that they would do it however they charge $90/hr for a dyno, the other place we are looking at is MAperfomance in Plymouth, MN. they are much cheaper. Their website says they start at $75/hr but i am not sure how their rates vary.

Also I will need a deposit from all of you that are on the list by April 10th. You can either send me a check or money order, or you can send it via paypal. If you choose to send it using paypal, please add 3% for the fees.

I forgot to mention that the deposit will be $200. Our location will officially be MA performance in Plymouth. I just got off the phone with them and we are locked in for May 24th. The cost is $75/hour and that includes them strapping all the cars down.

For those of you that want a dyno, I need to know by the 17th of May so the shop can estimate how long we will need.

MAPerformance raised their labor rates to $110/hr as of yesterday.

I'd be interested in dynoing w/Steve if the $75/hr rate is still in effect for us on May 24th.

Yeah but they didn't change the rate for dynoing, I checked.

Ok here is the deal guys. I contacted Steve and Dan down at MA performance and it sounds like steve will be using the dyno for his tunning instead of street tuning. So I am sure that the cost will go up a little for everyone to tune because we have to pay for the dyno.

This is my first time doing anything like this but does anyone know if you can dyno tune your car and still track hp and torque # at the same time?

Also Steve said that he can only do about 6 cars in one day. With that being said, The 6 guys that are on this list currently are going to have first choice. Steve will also be around on sunday if there are somemore cars that need to be tuned, but MA Performance is not sure yet if they will be open on sunday.

One last thing, Is anyone willing to host steve when he comes? That will involve picking him up at the airport, giving him a place to stay, and taking him back to the airport. He is flying in on friday and leaving on sunday night, I think. I would do it myself but I live 3 1/2 hours away from the airport. If one of you cities guys could do this that would be great.

 

I am in on the deal. Just got my **** together so I need another tune. Please add me to the list.

 

FYI. For those of you that sent me a deposit, you will be tuning on Saturday. All others will go on sunday. Steve can tune 6 cars in one day at the most, so if there is time Shiri will have the last spot on Sat. solorx7freak, fd3stouring, and yia vang are in line for sunday.

 

If anyone wants my spot on saturday they can take it i am not ready ( kid is do now) and did not have enough time and money to get it done.
