I don't know the story, but did someone rear-end you, and then discharge bird shot at close range into your rear quarter panel? You look like a victim of a drive-by.

I had no idea so many pulling point would be necessary for something like this. Is it about the same hole density for less folded smashings?

The amount of holes you've put into it is ridiculous. You might as well cut out all of that and weld in new sheet metal and try to mold it to form, or take a used piece off of a junked car. I'm not a body expert, but I'm almost positive trying to fill that in and paint it is a bad idea.

exactly.

I would be scared to death to drive that car and be hit in that rear end again with that much missing metal.

I hope he is planning on filling those holes by welding in new metal, rather than the Bondo mess it looks like it is gonna be.

Not only the crumple factor, but if the weather/temperature changes quickly or he gets some moisture back in there, it's going to crack all over again. Looks like he's determined though.

I'm not a body expert eather....in fact this is my first real accident repair to this extent. My friend told me the same thing but think about it.....you gotta find a wrecked car...then find a place to put a car that dost move...then you gotta figure out where to cut it then you gotta do all those steps again, and on top of that you gotta weld all that back up.

i'm doing all this for wide body...I know I gotta cut some of the fender...that a lot better than cutting 2 complete cars in half . I' am putting a cage into it. So when I do that i'm going to put a few reinforcements on that side maybe both.

I did another coat today, 2morrow I'm gonna sand it down and form it but its pretty much there I cant wait to drive this ******* yard decoration.

Toss one of these in the car and let it burn.

It rains in LA...just like anywhere else. Moisture in the air will get in there unless you seal/paint the inside of the car where all that bondo is there as well.

You have trashed that car. You need to stop wasting money trying to fix it. It will not be safe to drive.

Maybe that weed you are advocating in your signature has clouded your judgment?
