Run, and run fast, this will be NOTHING but a headache for you, probably including a rebuild AND a standalone, you'll have close to $6k+ into it

Would actually be cheaper to put it back to n/a if the engine survived

Edit: i like how the afm is ziptied to the cooling fan, maybe its a puller and helps with the "turbocharging" effect

Success through this approach totally depends on your knowledge of the car.
If stuff is missing/wrong when you buy, how will you know to correct it later?
The interior in particular can be a minefield but even if stuff is broken, at least you know what should be there. If it's gutted to begin with, you're on your own.

Mechanically, FCs are pretty simple to work on and with the exception of the basic engine itself, there's nothing especially weird.
The electrical system can be a nightmare.

Also bear in mind that the altitude is working against you, too.

Few ways to go about this project and the easiest is to bail on it.
Since you all ready bought the car & your new to rotary you should take all the turbo parts on this car and sell/trade them for the missing NA parts and return back to stock. Perhaps the guy who sold you this project still has the stock parts?
Anyways returning back to stock would be allot faster, cheaper & make it 100% more reliable.
A compression test would be first place i'd start

i'm rather scared to see where the turbo charge pipe goes, since it goes underneath the car. i can picture it hanging about 8 inchest below the subframe, like a speed bump check.

edit: wait nm, i see it, sitting in front of the main pulley ready to wear a hole in it.

Supporting Mods.. also known as Axle Stands......Or ME..I am also a Supporting MOD! (chuckle!)...good luck with that!~
If you changed the turbo and the injector size without changing the fuel parameters that the ECU has programmed, then Ya..you get a crappy running car.

I blew the engine and it wouldn't start after that. Don't have time to get it running again.
