Post Some Pics of your FC! :D <- Pics of your car go in this thread!!
The interior door panels I made myself out of 1/16 in. ABS plastic from McMaster Carr, fake Recaro fabric I got off eBay, and I reused the stock upper, padded vinyl pieces. I separated the top, ripped the carpet off the stock panels and used the underlying cardboard as a template for the ABS. It was super easy to transfer all the needed holes and fasteners over. Once the shape was complete I used spray adhesive to cover the ABS with fabric. The door straps are nylon units from Techno Toy Tuning. I'm really happy with how they turned out. I ended up covering the headliner in the same fabric as well.
As for weight, I'm not sure. The chassis started out life as a '86 Base so it was pretty much the lightest possible. Anything not required to run the car has been removed. I've even cut out some metal pieces no longer needed (e.g. rear speaker towers). I added back some weight with the roll bar but I'm hoping the final weight is under 2500 lbs with me in it.

Nice!
It looks nice and minty on the outside, and it's kind of sleeper-ish (as sleeper-ish as a bright red RX-7 can be, anyway
) with the swap and the n/a hood and stock wheels and stuff.

And what kind of adapter plate is that??
Engine bay's looking fun!
Idles great just as well as my old 3 plate. + the haltech 1500 auto opens and closed it to suit to act like the air bypass valve (which I dont need now either).
Not up and driving yet, waiting for custom tailshaft
