I don't see anything wrong with using a replacement part that was developed to be superior than the factory part it replaced.. Maybe I'm wrong, but isn't the world's fastest 13B using a billet crank from http://www.RxParts.com? Why should that make his accomplishment any less than a guy who chooses to use a factory part?

Also like the fact that he doesn't have the extra extension on the front that everyone seems to have added.... If he had one of those installed he would have a lower ET...

I heard that the extension would provide a .0X time advantage, not a whole lot if its true.

 

I heard 2300lbs...

Given that they are running near identical times and MPH, I would say that its very true.
