nice.. is this daily driven in socal? hehe

The rear fenders, they were trimmed shine auto fenders? Or did you use a roller and just roll out the stock fenders?

These are the exact same wheels and tire sizes I have that are on this car with the FEED rear fenders, which are said to be 25mm wider than stock. Looks perfectly flush to me.

I was asked how many mm my custom flare gives. Judging from the comparison pictures... between 20-24mm. Your guess is as good as mine :).

They are rolled, but a roller can only give you some much arc. Nothing was cut or trimmed. Alot of bondo shaping was done to create a meatier looking flare.

A roller will only give you this much...

My car is pretty much all stock except for the suspension so its definitely daily driveable. I usually only drive it on the weekends.

Yeah its definitely possible. Just don't go cheap on the paint job and stick with a subtle style. Don't go cheap on the wheels either :)

Isam 01-18-08 05:27 PM

Was there a lot of paint cracking when you rolled them?

Risky Devil 01-18-08 05:30 PM

Heat Gun, Rubber Mallet , Ball Peen Hammer (Tapping)
Fender roller , Heat up paint , Repeat.

No cracking.

For me there was. Then again it was not done with a heat gun.

Ken, what kinda suspension are you running ?? if coilovers, approx height adjustment setting ? :p:

this thread is a great idea :) :icon_tup:

shineautoproject 01-18-08 06:41 PM

Im running Buddy club Dspec coilovers with Swift Springs. I have no idea what the approximate height adjustment is.. :/

AF1 01-19-08 08:25 PM

so what would be the recommended offset for the feed fenders?

ihavetwins 01-19-08 09:26 PM

baller. car looks great what size tire are you running on that 11 a 265 ? stretch looks nice

dclin 01-20-08 01:07 AM

Thanks for the terrific pics, Ken! What is the camber, front and rear? That's a big part in the fit as well.

I think the sizes and offsets that i have work pretty good.

Regarding camber...I would have to check...but i don't think I'm running much or even need to.

Ken

I think I see a little bit of neg camber in the rear, the fronts look near 0 degrees; hard to tell from those angles though.

black99 01-21-08 02:25 PM

Awesome.. inspirational. You've pulled off a great look..

RockLobster 01-21-08 02:31 PM

I love that color.

shineautoproject 01-21-08 03:06 PM

Thanks...

I do have a bit of camber going on in the back. I don't think i really need to, but I like the way it looks :)

That rear shot looks awesome Ken! You wouldn't happen to know the offsets/width on this car, would you? They look like 18's?
