Any better shots? Full on from the rear would be preferable. Thanks.

pugg57 07-19-06 07:23 AM

Ken, are you asking who would be interested in an original or who would want one of your remakes? i'm considdering purchasing the side understeps for the Sanai Works body kit that i'm buying from you and it would be nice if i could finish the kit off.

i take it, you're still not interested in offering the front splitter that Sanai has?

i guess it really all comes down to price. what kinda range would we be looking at? what is the difference between this and the RE A one you're currently selling?

shineautoproject 07-19-06 12:53 PM

Here's the best picture I have. Not many people have this rear diffuser in Japan, so its hard to find good pictures.

Sanai works only offers a CF version for nearly $1100. They are also limited in quantity with several week lead times. We would like to offer a FRP and CFRP version if people are interested.

I personally think the Sanai diffuser mounts on cleaner. Also a less aggressive look. Might be more suitable for a daily driver?

Price range would be $400-$500 for an FRP one. About $700 for a CF one.

plzbelieviet 07-20-06 01:59 AM

does this diffusser clear better for exausts better than the re diffuser? and if i wanted the real deal sanai cf one how much would that run me

KaizoRX7 07-20-06 04:07 AM

Man - look at those FRONT FENDERS - those would be awesome to have - sorry about the clutter - you can delete this now ;)

I can find out.

treceb 07-25-06 02:27 PM

if i had known this kit had its own diffuser i woulda jumped in on the GB and not bought the RE diffuser...

pugg57 07-25-06 03:58 PM

I'll be honest, i'm certainly interested, but it'll be a while before i have the money for it.

Herblenny 08-29-06 12:01 PM

Interested.. PM me and let me know what the status on these.

shineautoproject 08-29-06 01:38 PM

No status. LOL. Not enough interested. Looking at it again, it might be too bulky. I believe we canmake adjustments to make it look better. I still believe this would be a more street looking diffuser than the RE one.

YELLOWGSLSE 08-29-06 01:44 PM

I'm VERY interested. Please keep us updated on what you decide to do. I do think that this has a much cleaner look than the RE version.

Estimated timing on this?

shineautoproject 09-06-06 04:21 PM

I will not give an estimated time until we feel we have enough people interested.

I have no idea on exhaust clearance. Your guess is as good as mine. If your exhaust is too big, cutting will be required. Same goes for the RE rear diffuser.

We will ask for deposits from seriously interested buyers. Until then, it will be difficult to access how long it will take. Especially if we don't even know if this will go through and whether or not Sanai has this in stock.

Komodo1982 09-16-06 06:10 PM

Update

Any updates guys?

Seth W 09-17-06 03:39 PM

Does this just bolt up, or do you have to make your own brackets to get it to fit? I'd be into a CF one if you included brackets...

shineautoproject 09-18-06 06:41 PM

unless there's 15 people interested. We wont do it. We will need the part first to figure out how it installs. Most likely we will include brackets.

Seth W 09-18-06 10:41 PM

Count me in, If you need a deposit let me know.....

shineautoproject 10-05-06 03:53 PM

Alright guys.......

12 is enough. I would like this item to ride shotgun with everything else we have coming so Im making it easier on you.

I need a $200 deposit from each person to make this happen.

Start sending in your deposits to shineautoproject@gmail.com if you want to make this happen anytime soon!

Komodo1982 10-05-06 05:42 PM

deposit

you'll have my deposit on the 15th. what is the final price on these?

shineautoproject 10-07-06 05:13 PM

$450 for FRP $750 for CFRP

Komodo1982 10-07-06 06:25 PM

is the CF gonna be clear coated or do we still need to have that done?

shineautoproject 10-08-06 01:24 PM

We use clear gel coat on our parts. You can spray automotive clear on the parts for show if you want, but i feel that will make the part more brittle.

Seth W 10-08-06 11:56 PM

Did you guys (shineautoproject) get my deposit? Just curious, I had my brother pay-pal you. :)

shineautoproject 10-09-06 01:54 PM

Yes indeed we did :).

Here's a list of people who have left deposits so far.

1. Adam G.
2. Seth W

Keep it coming folks.
