is thsi dead? id like a set if they are infact better then oem

Crymson 11-16-07 01:59 PM

Last i heard, they had some troubles with the mold or the material, and stopped selling them. That may have just been briefly though.

shineautoproject 11-16-07 02:10 PM

discontinued....

TRISPEEDFD3S 11-16-07 02:19 PM

But why...?

ikill2 11-17-07 02:51 PM

Why, Why?

TRISPEEDFD3S 11-19-07 11:04 AM

Because the material Ken uses is better than OEM. I wish I had picked one up before...I have just been more performance oriented...I wish I had taken the time to invest in one of these. I like the OEM look more so than the all out kitted and track ready look.

Nuvolari 11-19-07 01:12 PM

Had a set, I would say bad mold was one reason why hes stoped making these.

Fit was way off on mine, but they refunded me in full

TRISPEEDFD3S 11-20-07 08:51 AM

I see...sucks...stupid bad mold....

shineautoproject 12-11-07 12:58 PM

The mold is ok. We just can't figure out a way to construct the part to have mounting points and flex the way we want consistently.

So.........DISCONTINUED...

Reason being is because i have these skirts and im about to install them.

killingtime33 03-25-08 06:37 AM

Team Chin, any installed pics?

Mytelex22 07-04-08 01:56 PM

These are Shine side skirts, there were some original fitment issues but luckily I have a good bodyman that took care of those little pain in the ass problems...but all in all good quality stuff...
