Hi Ken,

I am looking to buy a pair of side step (not the skirt) for my 94 FD and there are two types on your website, one is type GT, and anther one is type S. The prices are the same, $250 FRP so what's the difference between these two? any comparison picture? Tried calling you never got through.

bufferovrflo 06-24-13 11:58 PM

Question for whom bought these; how did you mount them? I'm hesitant to bring this to a body shop and let the gorillas loose, so I prefer if I do it. I assume 3M double sided tape for the top runner will be fine but what about the bottom? I want to do this right.

Thanks fellas
-Dan

shineautoproject 07-16-13 05:47 PM

the bottom can be screwed on as well.

bufferovrflo 07-17-13 12:44 AM

Thanks Ken. I ended up mounting the top with the tape then 5 stainless screws on the bottom. The fitment was good; the long passenger side piece needed a little work to fit properly by the rear wheel, but I'm happy with the results. :)

Just installed them today actually:

Looks just like OEM :)

JBF 07-17-13 04:15 PM

Has anyone mounted these with FEED front fenders yet?

shineautoproject 07-17-13 04:22 PM

The front pieces won't work.

wallythewhale 07-22-13 06:34 AM

any pics of these in CF?

Laz93RX7 07-22-13 09:38 AM

are these still available? looking for them in FRP.

shineautoproject 07-22-13 05:22 PM

I have these in stock ready to go in hybrid FRP.

We haven't tried making them in carbon yet. If someone is interested, let me know. Just tell me if you prefer plain or twill weave carbon.

cr-rex 07-23-13 10:13 AM

do you guys try and keep these in stock or do you just happen to have some extra sets?

Laz93RX7 07-23-13 11:04 AM

how much FRP shipped to miami 33177?

shineautoproject 07-23-13 06:29 PM

With almost anything we offer, we "try" to keep 2-3 of that item in stock. Once the stock depletes, then we will produce more at a rate of one per week. If you happen to call when they're all sold out, expect about a week production time if there are no open orders before you.

Shipping to Miami or anywhere in the lower U.S is $65. The sides are $350 a pair.
