What is this front bumper made of? You are asking 650 + 125 shipping is this correct.

jeffy426 09-14-06 08:27 PM

Can I still get in on the FEED sideskirts? How do I get a pair?...I'm located in Socal.

It's made out of our hybrid FRP material. Flexible fiberglass. Yes... that is the asking price.

Alright guys.. I just got my Feed Type 2R bumper from Ken.
Luckily I already have original Feed Type 2R in my garage and did some comparison.

I say the quality of Ken's is pretty good. Its also lighter and made of hybrid FG. Also, it needs to be smoothed out but any body shop should be able to do that.

Here are some pics! See for yourself.

woah! nice pics there herb. I see there's a difference in the turn signal lamp cutout. I guess the one we got is different.

All the unsmooth/smeared spots are simply black primer :). The body shop has to primer to whole bumper anyways.

shineautoproject 10-11-06 04:25 PM

oh and Canard molds are done!

Yeh, I noticed that too. I'm going to use yours first to mount it on my Blk FD. I'll put the signal hardwares on and see if your cut out will work or not. I'm guessing its no big deal.

Thanks again for quick shipment!

Put some pics of the Canards. I have a set but I want them in Twill CF (I have plain weave).

RX72NR 10-12-06 12:50 AM

I'll take a set of twin weave canards when you have em ready, thanks Ken! You are saving us alot of money.

I'm interested in a front bumper but I have the feed bumper Type F (I think that's what it is). I was wondering if those turn lamps will fit into the type R II. The picture below is my car. Thanks.

I'll answer this for you Ken:)
The bumper Ken's making, you will be able to use the current bumper lights. The thing about the Type 2R (instead of your Type 2) you could retrofit their driving lights (I'll try to take some pics tomorrow).

By the way, Original Feed 2r bumpers are upwards 2+K. So, its a deal here;)

renkenkyo 10-16-06 01:17 AM

Thanks for you response. That's definitely good to know. I see these bumpers on ebay but those are probably a crap shot as far as fitment goes.

Josh
