FD3S: FEED Mania Discussion Thread. Lots of pics! Join the fun :)

Alright guys. We have threads for various FEED replica aero parts all over the forum and I can sense that things are getting a bit confusing. Now that we offer pretty much a complete FEED style aero package, I would like to discuss all the details in ONE thread. However, I will still link information to old threads because they do discuss the whole process of getting the parts from Japan, what we did to them, and most importantly, include lots of pictures and feedback from customers' who are sporting the Shine version.

Prices:

FEED Type II R Front Aero Bumper $550
  • This is made from our special Hybrid FRP material (flexible fiberglass)
  • This is not the exact same style as the FEED Type II bumper. The bottom portion is designed a bit different

FEED Front & Rear Aero Fenders $500 per pair ( $1000 for both front & rear pairs)
  • These fenders are FRP (fiberglass).
  • Front fenders replace OEM fenders. They will work with any after-market or oem bumper that would work with OEM fenders
  • Rear fenders go over stock quarter panels. Cutting or pulling of rear quarter panel will most likely be required to fit wider wheel/tire setups
  • Front fenders are listed at 25 mm wider than stock
  • Rear fenders are listed at 20mm wider than stock

FEED Sidesteps FRP $250 ; CFRP (carbon) $340
  • Regarding carbon version, you can choose between Twill Weave or Plain Weave
  • Probably the easiest sideskirts to install. Installed with self-tapping screws drilled to the underbody of the car

FEED Hood FRP $500 ; CFRP $750
  • Hood looks very similar to stock with two wide vents along the rear. Used widely among Japanese FEED fanatics.

This is for those of you who love to run the RE-Amemiya rear diffuser with FEED sides.

Those of you seeking something more subtle might want to look into this..

Instead of going all out and hacking/cutting the rear quarter of my car, I would like to see if I can pull/flare it out for clearance before installing the FEED rear fenders. I'll keep you guys updated.

Nice collection of pics Ken :) Once I get the car running and everything fitted I'll post pics of mine.

Any chance of some fitting guides for us bodywork newbies? Quite happy to give anything a go. Front bumper is fine but other than the 2 bolts holding the front fender underneath the car I'm not sure where else to attach the side steps to? Also for the RE-A diffuser.

I'm on the hunt for for all feeds structural parts and auto exe's bracement packages. As well as a feed/sonic/afflux downpipe.

Ken,

I have seen pictures of that above car and it is by far one of the best looking FD's I've seen... well at least it was:(

Anyway, I really want to add a few FEED parts to the front end of my CYM but could never bear to hack up the rear 1/4 panel no matter how good that rear piece looks. I love what the guy with the above car did to that rear fender and would LOVE to see some more pics or talk to the guy who owned the car and see if he has any close ups...

Please keep us updated on what you find out about the rear flare. I love how it looks just like that, but if you could flare it enough to run the Feed rear flare with all the clearance, that would be ideal.

Also, could you point me in the direction of the owner of the above car? I really want to get his wheel and tire sizing info on those VS-XX's... I'd eventually like the space out my Work Meisters to similar offsets.

Thanks!
Charlie

TRISPEEDFD3S 06-28-07 07:25 PM

Did the white FD up there with clear combo lights put the Feed light covers over the combos opposed to using the feed insides?
