FD3S: Any Interest in Voltex Style GT Wing
 

Just curious if there was any interest in the Voltex style GT wings. I know there is another thread for the RE-Amemiya wing, where the demand for that particular style has already been fulfilled by Evo-R.

We're interested in a something a bit more new school.

Just out of curiosity, what's the difference between the first one and the Amemiya wings?

They are probably slight design changes you cant really see because the general design is the same. I see a difference in the mounting supports.

damn this is sick i love Voltex

I would rather see the REA GT Wing copied, as you have a much better reputation than EVO-R in terms of quality. I couldn't see myself buying it from them, but would buy it from Shine Auto. You could try offering a poll between the two styles. The REA GT Wing seems to be taller and wider.

well the Voltex wing can be sold to other cars too and not just a RE which would mean to alot of poeple it only fix on rx7

id consider it if it wasnt priced at an arm and a leg lol

I am about to buy the voltex 1700mm GT type 5 for my evo. If you can make this wing for me I will buy from you today. How much are we talking?

i my self have (2) guaranteed that i want to order.

seems like there is about... 3 guarantees and about 5-6 feelers.

I also feel this is cheaper / easier / faster to make than rear diffusers, body kits and other wings.

Interested in the second style depending on price.

Interested in the first design and mounts for the FC or I can fab my own... The second design is not nearly as effective in creating downforce as the first.

either one is fine with me. But I like the second style much more.

Target price is between $650-850. It will be vacuum assisted carbon. The ones on the market such as Voltex and FEED are handlaid (wet layup) carbon.

I would think these would be universal apps like their counterparts.

about the second one s there any way to get just the add on piece. i like the sleek look of the rx7 but a little lip to add would be nice.. i have the tail light cover with the lip but this would actually look better.
do they have an actual website or are you the rep for this item ?

and if not then i am dow for the second one and will sell the actuall wing to who ever for 100 less than i paid

what about the mold how much are they asking for it or can the mold be duplicated
if so i am interrested in the mold it self also i can hand lay cf or make in fiberglass by hand so let me know.
or if this doesnt go through i will try and make a mold myself for any who are interrested in this wing
the only thing that will be difficult will be the risers for the wing that might be a buy for your self type thing unless i can find a way to get them cheap
