Last year there were only a handful I think, from what I remember anyways.

yeah, a little, but nobody besides Drew got hurt. And I don't remember the hotel staff coming out to say we were making too much noise or destruction.

yeah, they just have to look out for the Drunk leg humpers... well come to think about it, I think last year there were a couple of leg humpers that didn't if it was a guy or a girl they were leg humping. Seem to recall they were the same ones with the tighty whities in the Jacuzzi.

Yep. I don't think the hotel staff minded at all. Probably because we were really the only ones there that weekend.

Quite sure. Considering I made an ass of myself, pictures flowed throughout rx7club for months after, and one still that pops up from time to time, and the fact I was in physical therapy for many months trying to recover the shoulder I destroyed that night... I won't be doing it again.

Ah, that's to bad. What will we do for fun. You provided hours of entertainment. Like everyone else, I still can't figure out how you made it all the way back to the pool from your room in the state you were in.

Sorry to hear about your shoulder. I am sure someone else will take it upon themselves to provide the drunk entertainment of the evening. If no one else looks like they are going to be up to it, I'll make sure I bring a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue for Nader, that will do the trick.

You know we are going to. The double tree won't know what hit them this year, or, actually I was thinking, we skip the snooze fest dinner, and hit the local clubs in Irvine before heading back to the hotel pool for the afterparty party.

Don't let this banter discourage anyone who hasn't gone yet from the dinner. If you haven't gone, and are into RE cars, you should go at least once. I actually learned things there that I hadn't taken the time to learn before.

With the latest news on my new car, I will probably have time to make it back to NorCal in time to grab the FD and roll down in the caravan, but if there are delays in delivery for any reason, I will just go straight into Irvine and meet up there. If that happens, it's going to be a bit strange, being at 7 stock with out my FD. Regardless, I am 100% there.

That's kinda what a group of us did last year. During the dinner we went to a restaurant/arcade/bar thing nearby for drinking and dinner before heading back to the pool after party.

Wait nevermind that can't be right. Mark was at the restaurant thing and went to the dinner.

I dunno, we did something during the dinner.

We were drinkin it up during the dinner. Drew, you were already drunk...lol.

A bunch of us tied one off at Dave and Busters before getting back to the hotel....

I blacked out either during the dinner at Dave and Busters or on the ride home, I can't remember (lol?).

So yah, my memory isn't so great at that point. I do however remember handing over my credit card at the dinner at one point to someone, and I did get it back thankfully. And then bits and pieces of the pool party are clear but not much.

Can I ask a stupid question?

If SS is on the 27th, why are the days blocked out for the hotel 27-29? Don't some people want to come down the 26th before the show has started?

Actually I made reservations for the friday 26- sunday 28 and it was fine. Per the website these are the dates blocked off... http://sevenstock.org/node/view/8 Basically Friday night to Monday noon it's been reserved.

Why don't you fly into SFO and hitch a ride with our caravan just for fun? Then you can fly back from Irvine... :D
