Shops in central Florida for Gen 1

Hi guys I searched the site for shops but only found a very old thread and most of the shops seem closed now. I'm moving down to central Florida with my 85 GSL-SE. She's in good shape but looking for a shop to maintain her. Any help much appreciated! Photo below at the park with my other baby a 71 240Z

i don't have any specific information to give you as far as shops go.

however, i do have a couple pieces of advice that may help you get the info you seek.

1. PM mazdaverx713b and ask him to move this thread to the appropriate Regional Forum. it may be a little better than here simply because it's more specific, and you're not limited to just Gen I there. i know we're kinda "clan-nish" on the board, but the chances are if you find a repuatble place that a Gen 2 guy recommends, there's a good chance they will be able to handle the SE.

2. you may want to give a little more specific info about where you plan to move to. the term "Central Florida" covers a lot of ground, and i don't know how things are in DE, but down here when people say something is "near" it can mean anything from 10 minutes to over an hour's drive. that was a part of the culture shock i got when i moved here. you don't need to provide zip code or anything that specific, just look at a map and see the biggest city near where you plan to move, and use that city. it will help people help you.

I moved the thread. No pm necessary unless you have any questions. Best of luck in your search for a reputable shop!

Seems you're in the middle of Orlando and Tampa. You can go east to see kilo in saint cloud, which would be your best bet. You can also go west and go to full detail automotive in tampa. They mostly deal with FDs though.
