Dean, you probably just need to clean the lint trap. We can take a look at it tonight.

bwaits 11-01-11 11:56 AM

Sorry guys and gals, my anniversary is tonight. Will not be able to make it.

Hey Billy, here's a great idea. Why don't you treat your wife to a special treat and bring her to the OGTA meeting tonight?

who's getting the 12a count? glad to see u made it out ray.

ray green 11-02-11 05:19 AM

Whoops, I'm slipping. Here's the 12A count, courtesy of Kristi:

1 RX-2 = 2 12A's (Jeremy)
2 SA's = 3 12A's (Gene and New Guy Robert from Alabama)
6 FB's - 5 12A's (Dean, Geraldo, Mike, New Guy Peggy from New York and buddy Wylie, Ray)
1 FB/FC = 0.75 12A's (Kristi and her PrePro)
3 FE's = 1.5 12A's (Tommy, Kevin, Holly)
Boingers = 0 12A's (Collin from Vermont in the White VW; he moved back to Atlanta because of all the floods and snow up there)

Total 12A's = 12.25 12A's

Nice turnout, great folks, even better cars!

ray green 11-02-11 04:33 PM

Looks like a fun meet. I should be at the next one, I just sold a good bit of parts today that helped out the bank account. If I sell this roll cage, I'll really be back in business...

Yeah but Holly, if you get the REPU for Kristy you will get to borrow it anytime you want. I'm just saying, it would be a nice addition to the family...

Dave Gene is right of course about the correct harness, which makes the 100 lbs. of 84/85 GSL wiring harnesses I have out in the shed pretty much worthless. Darn, I'd like to move that stuff.

Anybody up for Chinese tomorrow? I need to celebrate my raise.

So!!! William D. Underwood came off the hip with some cash for Ray , must have received another government grant.

ray green 11-03-11 09:51 AM

That'll be tomorrow noon at the Hunan, right Dean? Any other takers?

Depends on whether there is a crisis at work, but sounds good.

msimonov 11-03-11 11:58 AM

Tomorrow at noon sounds good.

Anyone have a Nikki phenolic spacer they don't mind getting rid of? I need one for a little experiment I am working on.

Sadly, no Brett. I have popped it back in place several times, I need to get the longer screws to hold it. Kristy and I ended up zip tying the middle a month ago, before driving to Tampa, because those shorter clips thingys fell out within a week of the car show at Sutherland. Thanks for trying to make it look good for the pics though.

Weldean 11-03-11 01:25 PM

Hey Guys, It would be an honored to dine with the greatest minds of my generation and have the opportunity to bask in the glow of such wisdom , but I have a work related task that has me over on Ga 400 tomorrow. Please include me on the next lunch outing and I will block out my calendar at work for lunch.

ray green 11-03-11 02:54 PM

Greg, does that mean if there's a crisis at work, you'll be at the Hunan, or if there's a crisis at work, you won't be at the Hunan?

Artfully done Dean, you almost make it sound like you don't have more important things to do than have lunch with us Old Guys. Now Holly, she needs to work on her manners. She totally ignored us.

Mike I have the spacer, will bring it to the Hunan tomorrow. And I have a preposition.

How about if we make the Friday lunch at the Hunan a regular thing, that way some of those really important people like Greg (both Elder and Younger), Deer Slayer, Holly and just about everybody else in OGTA might be able to find at least one day on their calendars when they could join us?

Weldean 11-03-11 03:07 PM

I'm blocking out my calendar for next Friday lunch.. just in case the planets line up with the planetary gear heads.

I gotcha down Dean, Hunan Chinese twice in two weeks is something I can live with.

As a member of the 12A equivalent committee, according to your 1st gen section post, I am willing to let you slide on a few points here and there but not RX-8's getting 1/2 a point.

ray green 11-03-11 08:32 PM

Have you talked to your mom about that?
