trying to run a ls3 on ls1 peripherals. alot of tiny things have to be adapted or swaped. Each one leads to more time stalled. However we can say the long block atleast is together and was briefly in the hole.. lol

Whats the power difference you will see ls3 vs ls1? I am not familiar with domestic stuff at all...

ls3 is 6.2L vs 5.7L Ls1..ls1 had ls6 heads and a decent cam,, new motor has stage 3 heads and a near square cam.. we should see 550+ vs the 416 the ls1 had.

Hello everyone. Specifically people from Jacksonville, Florida or near it. 
I may be purchasing a '89 series 5 turbo rx7 soon and i'm looking for local help on the car. There are a couple things that have to be replaced on the car. The o2 sensor, turbo (seller is providing one to me). I'm no expert on cars, at best I can probably replace the o2 sensor. Really i'm looking for someone to help me with the turbo. Hopefully I don't get any trolls saying "oh you just want us to do it for you for free..etc" because that is not the case. I am looking for someone that enjoys building cars and that is willing to help a noob to rx7s out with swapping a turbo.
