OMG that looks great!!!!
I need to step my game up and get stuff done! two wide body RX-7's cruising the street would be a cool sight to see. |
Very nice!

Looks good man!

Wide Body
One of my favorite cars is the Porshe 930 slant nose. The first time I saw a 1st gen with the wide body I lost it. I couldn't believe how similar they look! My opinion! I wish you both the best. I just want to see the pics.

Fred, thanks for bringing your project out to Mazmart the other week. Its looking good and it was great to see your progress.

hey guys,
i'm going to keep a build thread here in the SE forum, if that's ok w/ the mods. rented a uhaul and drove up to NC to pick up an 85 rx7. car already has a lot of work done to it. engine rebuilt, suspension redone, brakes upgraded, etc. car came with a widebody kit from black dragon. car seems to be at about 80% complete. mainly it's installing oil cooler, installing seats, installing rollcage, mounting the widebody kit, and finally paint. i've got one pic for u guys as a teaser, will get more later when i have time to work on the car but priority right now is to put together my 74 bmw 2002 when i get it back from paint. fred https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-M...s400/photo.JPG |

That's a beauty, I remember commenting on it.
Body is done...working on swap now...slow process. I started a new thread on the 1st gen build thread found here (may be a long read if u need some sleeping material): https://www.rx7club.com/build-thread...oject-1004730/ |

well I read a ton and finally saw that white beauty and some of the other wide body's as well. It's confirmed.. I'm really sick that I could not keep mine. But I'm still a rotary owner and that's all that matters.!! I'll switch my comments to the build thread going forward. I lived in NE Ohio all my life (60) till ending up in NC. I left a good friend back there that built this 20b. Took it to 7stock last year. Had a ride in it.. downright angry beast. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...51d5c68437.jpg
and i also remember reading about ^ car on this forum...that thing is sick. would be a lifetime build for me if i ever attempted something like that. ha. |
