As of now it will usually take me a week or so to put a kit together and ship it; depending on the availability of parts.

If you are interested in a turbo not listed please contact me and I can put a kit together. As long as the turbo is T4 based with a Vband exhaust, our manifolds and downpipes will work.

Jason,

I noticed you guys relisted the turbos from what you originally had them posted at. You used to have a $2599 kit and a $2999 kit and the only difference between the two was the manifold but you stated that both had a lifetime warranty on the manifold, but now I see you have relisted them both, one at $2699 and the other $2999, but now there is no warranty stated for the base model? Since I placed my order for the turbo back in November, will the manifold I'm getting have a lifetime warranty from you guys?

First your in the wrong section... go search for it in the FC3S section (86-92) its been covered a lot of times... and no it wont fit because of the mount location... but if you import a 13b-RE from the JDM 3rd gen then yea will with custom mounts... read up first seems like your new to the Rotary World... Read and Read and Read... Defently not a project for someone that dont know what there doing

matthew_gts 12-11-06 07:03 PM

all the aftermarket turbos i found are single turbo conversion. are there any twin turbo upgrades available?

silentblu 12-12-06 01:35 PM

bnr's or 99 spec

RiceFx306 04-16-07 11:28 PM

I'm still waiting to see some reviews of this GT35 kit before I commit. Kinda believe in the whole you get what you pay for...just curious as to how it stacks up against Gotham and A-Specs offerings. Good price though. Still scouring for reviews though.

hiboost 04-16-07 11:55 PM

Those manifolds look the same as those from ebay... Not good in my opinion..
Let me justify it: Look at the flange on the manifold!, It wont align with t4 flange on the garret turbo. I've seen those manifolds in person and i dont like them. Exhaust air is going to hit the edge of the turbo flange...Which suck for the performance.
Now, if you can and know how to weld, get the t4 flange (again) from ebay and re-weld it ($9.99 plus shipping). but..
I know man , you get what you pay for...

I dont buy them from Ebay so I dont know. We have not had one problem with them and I have sold probably 25 kits in the last 6 months.

yes i will fit but you have to fabricate mounts. but i agree you are no where near the experience to do this kindof swap if you have to ask weather it can be done or not..

The 62-1 turbos were hard to get. Took to long.

Athanon 03-17-08 02:06 PM

ok heres the deal i pretty much put one of these kits to gether buying parts seperatly before i was part of this forum but i still need the hardware and the oil lines and block off plates that come with all of your kits..
what kind of price can you give me on this
have to4e and the same manifold have xs engineering wastegate and bov. one problem is that the wastegate doesnt bolt oin to that manifold it has a coupler with a clamp. in the pic of your manifold for the kit it looks as it you cut the plate wher it should bolt on and welded the other half of the coupler to it so the wastegate can be attatched.. if this is how you did it let me know if not how did set it up to have the wastegate attatched
thanks, b

Fuel system Qestion

Hi Jason,

I was checking out your Ultimate Fuel System for 93+FD it's prety good deal!

Q: What brand are those injectors primary and secondary?

Q: What's the difference between the one on your store and SARD primary and secondary fuel rail?

Thank's
Francis

alloutFD 04-14-08 02:07 AM

do any of your kits retain the factory air pump?
and o your kits work well with the factory internals?

Seanybaby2 12-01-08 11:10 AM

whats the differenc between these turbos and say a greddy t-78 or t-88\\ forgive my newbishness

Jason 12-01-08 01:17 PM

The T-78 would be comparable to the GT40 in terms of power. My opinion is the T-78 kit is not worth it as its overpriced and you can get something a lot cheaper that will give you the same results.

Lkp_rx7 02-23-09 12:17 AM

Jason,

Do you happen to have the gt35r kit for a t2 rather than the third gen.? Not sure if that manifold would work with the t2 and i am positive the downpipe wouldn't. If you don't but you make one let me know.

Thanks,
Dion

Jason 02-23-09 08:35 AM

Sorry we dont make one that works on the T2.

lgjp2631 03-08-09 07:43 PM

im seriously in the market for a turbo kit.cash in hand.but i need to know who makes the manifolds(what brand and is there any warranties at all and if so what are they.not trying to rush but the sooner the better.thanks, jay

project3328 06-26-09 11:55 PM

just curious do these kits use megan manifolds?

kru510 06-27-09 02:25 AM

yes ..its the megan manifolds

logo113 11-09-09 02:50 AM

Jason I have a question for you: I have an HKS TO4R installed but i want a ball bearing turbo, the question is that if i buy the TO4Z from your store ,can i use the turbine section from my TO4R with the rest of the TO4Z. because the TO4R from HKS comes with a slip on 4 bolt downpipe conection ,and the Z has a 3" V-band. Or is there any way to use the TO4Z with my current set up. Thanks for your help.

Jason, if i would like to get a GT40R turbo kit, what else does it come with in term in order to complete to swap?

fuel lines? block off plates? pulley+belt? (i know it wont fit the air-pump any more) piping to the stock intercooler? is that manifold well built by megan? and does the waste-gate route back to DP? most importantly, how long would it take to get the a kit ready to ship?

i have 1350cc injectors, upgraded twin, PFC, greddy SMIC, Apexi intake and HKS DP, exhaust. i am just comparing if i should get a Greddy T78 kit since it comes with every single piece that i need to do the swap with no fitment issue i assume, but i like the GT40R turbo better.

Our turbo kit comes with Turbo, Manifold, wastegate, downpipe and lines/fittings. We dont use the Megan manifolds anymore. We have gone with a higher quality manifold with better flanges.
In terms of other parts needed it looks like you have everything else. I would suggest an HKS Twin Power for ignition.

Do you guys sell parts for first gen RX-7s, or do you know someone online who does... not sure if they're interchangeable and it doesn't look like you go any further than the 90's.

Thanks!

kensin 10-25-10 04:43 AM

hey jason how is this kit now ?
whos, what manifolds are you using on this kit ?

i got enough $$ to buy the gt35r kit from aspec or kimn`i racing.
but if it ends up almost the same parts ,then i whould like to save a few $$.
thanks

Hi,
We have changed our manifolds this past year. We were using the Megan but to many issues with warping and the flanges didnt match the turbo.
We have since gone to this manifold.
http://www.rx7store.net/RX_7_Turbo_M...20manifold.htm

The flanges are a lot thicker and match perfectly to the turbo and the block. Overall just a better manifold than previous one. So far no issues with them.

Hi,
If your car is non turbo right now then there are a bunch of things you need to do when going turbo. Turbo, fuel system, ECU, intercooler, clutch etc...
I typically recommend finding a front clip from a turbo car and buy that. Its the cheapest way to go turbo on a non turbo car.

When I first bought my GT35R kit I ended up having some problems with the flanges leaking. I spoke with Jason about it and he informed that he was now dealing with a whole new manifold altogether and I can tell you this new one is so much better. I haven't had any complaints other than trying to find the right sized bolts with small enough heads I can fit a wrench on, currently have a leak since I wasn't able to fully tighten one of the bolts:blush:
