I think Mazda has already found a solution and have been gearing towards replacing the spark plugs with lasers...yes lasers. I'm sure if you do a quick Google search you can find it.

Very interesting none the less. Nice find!

alot of things sound interesting as theories,the narrow spark gap seems to make sense,is he telling us the japanese engineers never even considered and tested an offset combustion face?cmon,get real

I doubt he himself has more research and development into rotaries than Mazda.

His ideas seem feasible but if they were "breakthroughs" Mazda probably would have implemented them in the 90's lol.

I remember reading somewhere that the compression leakage through the spark plug holes are negligible, but of course less leakage is better if it works.

thats cool stuff! The exhaust ports on that rotor housing near the end were HUGE.

His ideas with friggn lazer beams plus side exhaust plus pure ceramic construction = teh win.
