Stubborn.I need advice on the 2.1
I got ths 2.1 from a Member and I don't know how he Configured it.I am running all 720's.
I don;t know If it is the Palm pilot itself or User error(me).I turn the Key on ,I get the [] on it,then Tap tune.I can't get the set up to go past that,and get the Injector Tab up to set the Injectors to Say all 720's It leads me to a Fuel Map. am I doing something wrong? Please someone help. If they have a Decent map for running all 720's and a S5 hybrid.please send it over..(misterstyx69@hotmail.com) I will try to load it up and see what the heck happens. as of now,the car will start but Not Idle and shoots up to 3500..it will Keep running if I tap the gas,..suddenly after I tap the gas,it is like it Says"oh ya Gas",and Takes off on a REV..then starts to die down again to 500 I have to Finesse the gas in order to keep it going. Honestly I think it may be a Vacuum leak involved with this.But Any suggestions are welcome,as I will try them all. Thanks Gentlemen.Dave. |

When you're at the tune screen (w/ the fuel & timing maps up), you need to press the menu button on the palm. A drop-down menu will come up, and you select "ECU setup". See how it runs with the proper injector setting, then troubleshoot if the idle/driving problems are still there.

I read the manual..I turned the key to ON and it would automatically take me to a Graph. I will Try what you said RR..and see what it does. BTW.I got it to RUN>it was a Vacuum leak.I put a Fighter's Garage IAT on it also..(that is How I found the Leak!!.) It will Run Not Bad,with the STOCK ECU(N333) but it Flooded with the RTEK,and I could not start it. I put the Stock Ecu back on,would not Start.deflooded and ran.It will not run Below 2500,smoothly.it will just fade down to Nothing. So I need to Do something about the Rtek.(which I will do Tomorrow.) .I do not have this Car ON the road right now.there are too many things getting done all at once(body kit.,gauge install,Fan install..etc,etc.). I'll post with Results. I really would like to Keep this ECU in my Car and run it.I sold the Megasquirt because Nobody would Give any support for it. Thanks gents.STYX. |

While I"m here, does anybody know for sure what the latest greatest BUILD is???? Reason: laptop died a sudden death and my Palms all were dead as door nails to boot. So I'm *reloading* everything from scratch. |
