rtek 1.7 with hks fcon?

Kind of a strange idea i guess but i have an FCON and an rtek 1.7 but could they be used in conjuncture to allow me use the FCON to tune the rtek? or would the FCON simply override whatever the RTEK is doing?

honestly, your asking for trouble, will they work, yeah... BUT

The fcon doesn't have the adjustability an rtek 2.1 has, not even close. The fcon is outdated, and hardly even supported these days. The fcon has a built in fcd, and but the rtek1.7 has the Fuel cut code removed. google the fcon verison you have and look up the "features" and compares those to the rtek 1.7.

Idealy, you could sell the fcon and rtek 1.7 and just get the 2.1, or just run the 1.7.

The fcon's adjustment, as you may or may not know, its a dial between 0 and 9(??I think??) 0 is no extra fuel, and 9 is the most, but this is for all rpms, not were you are lean. so the leaners spots go stoich, and the rich.. well gets richer. not really any tuning there..

yeah i have compared the features. the FCD is actually separate in the fcon, though i do have one wired in. i was looking for a 2.1 but for now its not a priority.

yeah the fcon is a 0-9 adjustment. unless you buy their GCC unit which allows you to tune it, somewhat.

this whole thing was just a curious thought anyways not really me trying to backwards *** avoid a better ecu haha. i've learned my lesson about doing things right the first time!
